{"id":388,"date":"2010-05-05T10:02:13","date_gmt":"2010-05-05T14:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jimel.org\/?p=388"},"modified":"2010-05-05T10:02:13","modified_gmt":"2010-05-05T14:02:13","slug":"a-look-at-love-part-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jimel.org\/?p=388","title":{"rendered":"A Look at Love Part 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good Morning Ya\u2019ll,\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This week\u2019s message will be a product of lesser time, but with no loss of sincerity\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been taking a good long look at love in Biblical terms, Godly expressions, and Christian experience. It is my hope that some of you have begun to comprehend that true love is a rich and matchless reality, manifested in various expressions of thought, word, and deed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>True love is of God and He enables His children (born-again believers) to love in the ways He loves. In your encounters with people, such expressions of love as a pattern of life (as we have so far covered) are a ready indicator for you to know the believer from the hypocrite.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s another manifestation of love\u2026<\/p>\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup> Corinthians 13:7a<\/p>\n<p><em>Love\u2026 believes all things\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Believing something means you trust that something (or Someone) completely by faith. If I believe the word of God, then I am trusting what He says is the truth\u2026 and my trust is built upon my faith in God.<\/p>\n<p>Contrastingly, if I don\u2019t believe the word of God, then I am not trusting what He says is the truth, and my not trusting is built upon my doubting of God.<\/p>\n<p>For some people, seeing is believing. \u201cI\u2019ll believe it when I see it.\u201d This faith in the visual is really a shallow, man-centered faith. Watch this\u2026<\/p>\n<p>John 20:29b<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Now what about the \u201c<em>all things<\/em>\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>The verse that immediately popped into my head has a great answer!<\/p>\n<p>Romans 8:28<\/p>\n<p><em>And we know that <strong>all things<\/strong> work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The good, the bad, and the ugly\u2026 everything that you encounter on a daily basis all your life-long\u2026 I think this is what is meant by \u201c<em>all things<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Those people who love God, believe all things happen according to His will. This is how we can honestly say, \u201cThanks be to God\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>**Comments\/ questions\/ testimonies\/ objections most encouraged!<\/p>\n<p><em>Dear Lord, thank you for this time to consider Your word and Your ways.
